Titanium is a solid chemical element having silver color, low density, corrosion-resistant, and relatively higher tensile strength up to 434Mpa. Titanium Grade 2 Plates have small amounts of oxygen that influence mechanical properties in different applications. They are used in ship parts, food processing, and aircraft ducting. ASME SB265 UNS R50400 Hot Rolled Plate works in the temperature range of 915 Celsius but has a high melting point of 1668 Celsius, thus making it a suitable choice for nuclear industries.

The UNS R50400 foil is non-magnetic and has a density of 4.48 g/cm3 thus making it stronger. Further, the modulus of elasticity ranges between 105 to 120 GPa and beta transus is at 1680 Fahrenheit. It also resistant to oxidation. Titanium Alloy Gr 2 Sheet has high resistance to stress corrosion cracking which helps it to sustain high workloads. It allows higher working pressure and uniformity of shape.

Alloy Titanium Grade 2 Cold Rolled Sheet requires it to be annealed and then quenched at room temperature which causes the tensile strength go as high as 500 MPa and yield strength in the ranges of 276 to 448 MPa. Similar to this, ASTM B265 Titanium Alloy Gr 2 Perforated Sheet supports rough forging. The forging is done at 1650 Fahrenheit and gets completed at 1550 Fahrenheit. Hot work on this sheet causes an increase in the ductility of the material. To toughen it, heating the material at 704 Celsius for 2 hours can work.

Ti Alloy Gr 2 Shim Sheet is hard to machine but can be done using slow speeds and high feed rates. It is useful in reactor vessels, medical implants, and devices. The thermal conductivity is around 21.79 W/m/k and the Poisson’s ratio is 0.32. The Werkstoff No 3.7035 strip is available in the annealed condition, however, to remove further stress, the material is heated to 482 Celsius for 45 minutes. Thus it is useful in hydrometallurgical extraction and offshore hydrocarbon production. Gr 2 Titanium Chequered Plate should not be used in strong reducing acids or pure oxygen service. At room temperature, the modulus of elasticity is at 15.2 to 17.4 Msi.

Cp Grade 2 Titanium coil has a low density of 0.163 lb/in3 with an ultimate tensile strength of 485 MPa.
