Titanium Threaded Rod is unique compared to other threaded rods, due to its high strength and corrosion resistance, but lightweight form. It is high strength-to-weight ratio contrasted to other metal rods. It isfully resistant to chlorine dioxide, chlorides, hypochlorites and more, these threaded rods are often found in the pulp and paper industry due to their use of chlorine.
Titanium Threaded Bar is also ideal in applications that require the high strength and low weight. It can be alloyed with aluminum, iron, vanadium, and molybdenum, among whith other chemical elements, to produce lightweight and strong, alloys. It can be for jet engines missiles, and spacecraft, military, industrial processes such as chemicals and petrochemicals, desalination plants, pulp, and paper, automotive, agriculture, medical implants, orthopedic implants, endodontic and dental instruments and files, dental implants, sporting goods, jewelry, mobile phones, and other applications.
Titanium Studs has a thread on full-lengths or at both ends. It does not have a “head” like a screw or bolt that can be turned for tightening. Most of the studs are long, although sizes can differs depending on its intentional purpose and application. It is strong with low density that is quite ductile, lustrous, and metallic-white in color. It has fairly low electrical and thermal conductivity compared to other metal studs. It is superconducting when cooled below its critical temperature of 0.49 K.
Titanium exhaust studs is not as hard as some grades of heat-treated steel; it is non-magnetic and a poor conductor of heat and electricity.
