2.4858 Incoloy 825 Pipes are manufactured from an alloy that consists of Nickel, chromium and iron. These three metals combined form the major elements of the alloy. The balance elements found in trace amounts are molybdenum, copper, and titanium.The nickel content in the ASME SB 423 UNS N08825 has natural anti-corrosive properties. This property of the Incoloy Pipe prevents corrosion caused by chloride-ion stress-corrosion cracking. Additionally, the combination of nickel with molybdenum and copper has excellent resistance to reducing environments such as those containing sulfuric and phosphoric acids. Therefore, they are used in various industries that have a high demand for anti-corrosive properties. For instance, the ASTM B423 UNS 8825 is used in industries like pollution-control equipment, oil & gas well piping, chemical processing, nuclear fuel reprocessing, acid production and pickling equipment.

he molybdenum added in the Alloy 825 Welded Pipe displays resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and it eliminates brittleness that may occur due to the addition of chromium in the alloy.
