These tubes are welded and extruded to get the desired structure and shape. Finishes are done when the extruded tube alloy is still hot since it hardens the finish and makes it permanent. ASTM B165 is what?

The ASTM B165 is a specification given to the Monel alloy since it is used for making condensing and heat exchanger tubes. Under this specification, the exterior diameter and the wall length is covered along with the minimal tube dimensions. All the conditions must be met during manufacturing of the alloy as well as the seamless tubes. Furthermore, this particular value signifies several mechanical properties also like the yield strength, tensile strength, maximum elongation under heat and mechanical load, and also the Rockwell hardness.
